History
eGlobal Family, formerly known as Email Foster Parents International, was founded in 2000 with the vision to link orphaned children with responsible caring donors through the use of email correspondence. The nature of the correspondence is intended to provide encouragement, motivation and moral support for the young people and help them to grow into responsible adults; without a family environment.
eGlobal Family Founder/Chairman, Rob Hail implemented the first Email Foster Parent Program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Over the past decade, the growth and development of the children and the facility improvements are a testament to the success of this unique program. Email Foster Parents frequently visit the orphanage to develop a closer relationship with their "kids." They fall in love with all the children and often look for new ways to support FLO and other orphanages. Now that the potential and success of the program has been realized, we are ready and eager to open our program to new international Partners.
We are encouraged by the growing interest in our program and are hopeful that eGlobal Family can help the lives of the many orphaned and vulnerable children in Southeast Asia and eventually all over the world. We look forward to developing close working relationships with new partners and supporting their efforts to provide safe and nurturing environments for the many orphaned and vulnerable children we collectively serve.
